This is an attempt to supply a good quality "custom made to fit" hood
for your fiberglass speedster. Shipping $105.
We have had several inquiries as to if our hood will fit California
Custom Coach, Glen Pray, Elegant Motorcars, Southeastern Motorcars,
etc.
We have found that few if any cars take the same hood. Through the
measurements to be supplied by you, we are willing to tailor the hood
to fit your car's dimensions. That includes the length (which seems to be different by up to 1 inch on many applications of the same stated model "Boat Tail Speedster" Width at the cowl and at the grill shell can be adjusted also by us to
fill your specified size details.
Center hinge is supplied you can chrome it if you like.
Center hinge is supplied, but not installed and you need to "cut-to-length"
Side panels can be ordered as the original configuration of four
supercharger pipes on the driver's side and none on the passenger
side, or pipes on both sides (Glen Pray style) or none (blank hood
sides both sides. These will be available made the length you specify.
We will be happy to send any of these parts up to an inch longer for
you to trim to fit your automobile. In fact, we would rather ship it
to you that way, because you have the car and can fit it yourself to
your liking.
PLEASE UNDERSTAND THIS IS A CUSTOM "MADE TO ORDER" PRODUCT AND WILL TAKE UP TO 40 BUSINESS DAYS (NOT TO INCLUDE WEEKENDS AND HOLIDAYS IN THE COUNT) TO MANUFACTURE THEN APPROXIMATELY A WEEK TO ARRIVE ON YOUR END
Our hood top halves will have that gap (for the center hinge) built into the manufactured size of the hood you order. We can discuss with you, the option of making the hood top solid and not hinged in the center if you like. you will receive the parts in a white or medium gray color gelcoat (no choice) it's whatever is in the gun for other jobs at the time yours are made.
